reviews its Strategic Plan - March 08, 2010
WAMA Foundation under the assistance of Management Science
for Health (MSH) Tanzania has reviewed its five year strategic
plan 2008- 2012 to analyse the achievements and challenges faced
so far.

A three- day workshop that was facilitated by Dr. Fulgence Binagwa-
external facilitator and Sebastian Kitiku,MSH Senior Programme
Associate was attended by WAMA staff namely: Mr. Daudi Nasib,
Executive Director, Mrs. Tabu Likoko, Women Empowerment Officer,
Mr. John Mattaka, Girl Child Education Officer, Ms. Philomena
Marijani, Advocacy Officer, Mrs. Neema Mhada, Health Promotion
Officer and Ms. Gloria Minja, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
The major aim of the workshop was to review organization strategic
issues: vision, mission, goals, core values, programmatic results,
achievements and challenges.

On the completion of the workshop WAMA was able to identify
its three key programmatic results which will focus on: (1)
Increased access to quality secondary education of vulnerable
girls (2) Advocate for improved maternal and child health and
(3) Reduce income poverty among poor women including mothers/guardians.
